Wednesday (6/24) Growler Fills and Bike Ride

Howdy Friends, We will happily fill some or all of your June share tomorrow. Just as a reminder, growler fills/pickups will occur every Wednesday evening from 6-8 and Saturday morning from 10-12. We will also offer a downtown pickup on some Saturdays each month after 1:00…So there is plenty of opportunities for you to get your beer throughout the month.

For those who have not been to the brewery, we are located at 18 Hunt Road in Belfast (red 2-story building with a garage door). There is limited space in the driveway, so feel free to park on the road.

Pre-Fill Orders: Send us your requests by 5:00 for pickup in the cooler outside anytime after 5:30. Please remember to mark your name off on the chalkboard.

Drop-in: Feel free to stop in from 6:00-8:00 to have your growlers filled and chat with the brew crew.

Beer Descriptions:

OMT (Old Man Time): This is our flagship beer and one of our first recipes. A stronger version of the American Pale Ale, this style is bitter and hoppy, showcasing American hop varieties that balance nicely with pale and crystal malts. Our creative hop profile offers the bitterness and flavor of a West Coast IPA with the aroma of an East Coast IPA…We call it a Midcoast IPA. Named after the Godfather of FBB. 95% of the grains used in this beer come from Maine farmers.

Black is Beautiful: A Beer worth celebrating!

In recognition and celebration of Juneteenth, we are happy to offer our Imperial Stout recipe which is full of coffee and roasted notes, but aged to allow for a smooth finish with a touch of sweetness. Please join us in reflecting on this part of U.S. History and consider ways to advance diversity, equity and inclusion. 70% of the grain and 100% of the maple syrup used in this beer comes from Maine farmers and friends.

Victory Lap: For our final year, we wanted to celebrate with a new recipe. Inspired by other Belgian beers we’ve done in the past, with some new hops and new hopping techniques, we bring a beer to toast 8 years of community, family and friendship. 100% of the grain used in this beer comes from Maine farmers. Plus a whole lotta love!

Catbird Seat Cream Ale:
An Ale version of the American Lager, with way more character. This style was originally created in the 1800’s and survived prohibition. This pale straw colored beer has
medium to low malt notes with a sweet corn-like aroma. The light hop aroma offers floral, spicy or herbal notes. It’s often referred to it as a “lawnmower beer”, we just think it’s super easy to drink and delicious. 95% of the grain used in this beer comes from Maine Farmers.

Wednesday Bike Rides: we’re happy to partner with the local chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association to continue this year with a weekly mountain bike ride that starts and ends at the brewery. Bike ride starts at 5:30. Post-ride Grill and chill from 730 to 9.

Cheers!
