Wednesday (5/22) Growler Fills and Bike Ride

Howdy Friends! We will happily fill some or all of your May share tomorrow. Just as a reminder, growler fills/pickups will occur every Wednesday evening from 6-8 and Saturday morning from 10-12 (During the summer months we will modify the Wednesday pickup from 7-9). We will also offer a downtown pickup two Saturdays each month after 1:00.

THE BEER: New Beer Alert

Catbird Seat Cream Ale
…An Ale version of the American Lager, originally created in the 1800’s and survived prohibition. Some folks refer to it as a “lawnmower beer”, we just think it’s delicious. 95% of the grain used in this beer comes from Maine Farmers.

Cowbell is for all you farmers out there. A Saison by style, we Americans tend to call them Farmhouse Ales. This is a pale, refreshing, highly attenuated, moderately-bitter Belgian Ale with a very dry finish. 100% of the grain used in this beer comes from Maine farmers. Scheldt Belgian Pale Ale. Named after the river that flows from Northern France through Antwerp, Belgium into the North Sea. We attempted to match the water profile of Antwerp for this beer to make it as true to style as possible. Historically, this style has roots that go back to the mid-1700’s and is similar to pale ales from England with a different yeast character. You will find this copper-colored ale moderately malty, somewhat fruity and easy to drink. 92% of the grain used in this beer comes from Maine farmers. OMT (Old Man Time) is our flagship IPA. One of our first recipes, it is an American IPA by style with the hop bitterness and flavor of a West Coast IPA along with the hop aroma of an East Coast IPA…We like to call it a Midcoast IPA. 95% of the grains used in this beer come from Maine farmers.
