We are pumped to be starting another year of beer with you all. We have quite a few returning shareholders and a fair number of new folks joining our family. The team here at FBB has been strategizing which beers we want to brew over the next 12 months and some new styles we want to try…With the success of the Lagers in 2021, we’ve decided to devote one of our tanks to lagers all year. Right now we have a Munich Dunkel (Winter Lager) named Dog Island Dark getting ready to be released later this month. Because of our small brewery, taps rotate pretty quickly so you are guaranteed a variety over the year and hopefully some beers that a new to you.
We will kick the year off with the following line-up:
OMT (Old Man Time) Midcoast IPA: A classic American IPA with a grain bill that consists of 95% Maine Malts and local hops. An IPA that allows you to appreciate the flavors of both the grain and the hops.
Smokin’ Rope Porter: A robust American Porter with a hint of smoke.
Breakfast Club Stout: Brewed with locally roasted coffee beans from Downshift Coffee, this beer pairs well with eggs and bacon…
Whoville Wholiday Ale: Belfast’s Christmas Tree is still lit up so we’re still pouring it! A complex ale brewed for the holiday season with long pie pumpkins with a dash of spice.
***Coming Soon: Principia Red: An American Amber brewed with Swan’s Island Honey. Due to hit the tap lines in within the week.
Wednesday, January 5:
Pre-Fill orders – please respond to this email with your beer order by 4:00 and it will be ready for pick up anytime after 5:00 in the cooler(s) outside the brewery door. Please remember to check your name off on the chalkboard. Please specify what beer style you would like and the size of the growler (32oz or 64oz). Just a reminder that you do not need to take all your share at once and you can split it up over the month. Full share = 128oz / Half share = 64 oz.
Drop in – We will be at the brewery from 6-8 and can fill your growlers on the spot. If you’re not sure and want a sample before you commit, this is your opportunity.
Location – The brewery is located at 18 Hunt Road in Belfast. 3rd building on the left once your turn on to Hunt Road. We do operate an Air B&B upstairs and when we have guests, we will let you know and ask you to park on the left side of the driveway (facing the raised bed gardens). Tomorrow we do not have guests.
