Howdy friends, If you still have beer owed to you, or if you want to buy additional beer, we will happily fill some growlers for you tomorrow. We are going to offer this as a pre-fill option so please send us your request by 4:00 and we will have your beer packaged and in the cooler by 5:00 and you can pick it up whenever it’s convenient to you.
We will be around after the bike ride (7:30-ish to 9:00) if you want to swing by and get growlers to go.
THE BEER: New Beer Alert:

Altbier is a well-balanced, well-attenuated, bitter yet malty, clean, and smooth, amber-copper colored German Ale that is the traditional style from Dusseldorf. “Alt” refers to the old style of brewing (top-fermenting ales) that was common before bottom-fermenting lagers became popular. So find that lederhosen and let’s celebrate…
94% of the grain used in this beer comes from Maine farmers. New Beer Alert: Festbier Marzen is our version of the original Oktoberfest style that was first served in 1872. This elegant, malty German amber lager offers a clean, rich, toasty and bready malt flavor, restrained bitterness and dry finish that encourages another drink. 85% of the grains used in this beer come from Maine farmers. OMT (Old Man Time) is our flagship IPA. One of our first recipes, it is an American IPA by style with the hop bitterness and flavor of a West Coast IPA along with the hop aroma of an East Coast IPA…We like to call it a Midcoast IPA. 95% of the grains used in this beer come from Maine farmers.
Catbird Seat Cream Ale:
An Ale version of the American Lager, originally created in the 1800’s and survived prohibition. Some folks refer to it as a “lawnmower beer”, we just think it’s delicious. 95% of the grain used in this beer comes from Maine Farmers.

“FBB, I’m not sure if I’ve take all my beer?” No problem…Send us and email and we will check the books and let you know where you stand.
“FBB, I’ve taken all my beer, can I still come and get more?” Absolutely! We will happily sell you growlers if you’ve taken all your beer shares. The cost will be $8-32oz and $16-64oz growlers.
“FBB, what about 2025?” We are currently planning another 6-month beer share from April 1-September 30 next year. If you are interested in continuing next year, please let us know and we will guarantee your share for another year. A reminder of this will come out later this Fall for those of you who have lost interest in this email because it’s way too long…
“FBB, I really don’t care about the beer but I love the Wednesday bike rides, will they continue?” OMG…Yes! We will ride bikes as long as Mother Nature allows us. If Dan and Rod are there, you better be also.
