Howdy Friends, We will happily fill some or all of your September beer share tomorrow. We are approaching the end of the 6-month beer share…Saturday will be the last “official” day. More to come shortly about this in another email, but rest assured that we will continue to offer times over the next few months for folks to come get beer if they need to catch up or if they want to buy more.
Pre-Fill Orders: Send us your requests by 4:00 for pickup in the cooler outside anytime after 5:00. Please remember to mark your name off on the chalkboard.
Drop-in: Feel free to stop in from 6:00-8:00 to have your growlers filled and chat with the brew crew.

Beer Descriptions:
Smokin’ Rope: is one of our favorite recipes that has taken on several variations (and names) over the years. An American Porter by style, this is a robust porter that is brewed with Chaga mushrooms to offer earthy notes and finished off with hint of smoke from Lapsang Souchong tea. 80% of the grain used in this beer comes from Maine farmers.
OMT (Old Man Time): This is our flagship beer and one of our first recipes. A stronger version of the American Pale Ale, this style is bitter and hoppy, showcasing American hop varieties that balance nicely with pale and crystal malts. Our creative hop profile offers the bitterness and flavor of a West Coast IPA with the aroma of an East Coast IPA…We call it a Midcoast IPA. 95% of the grains used in this beer come from Maine farmers.
Festbier Marzen is our version of the original Oktoberfest style that was first served in 1872. This elegant, malty German amber lager offers a clean, rich, toasty and bready malt flavor, restrained bitterness and dry finish that encourages another drink. 85% of the grains used in this beer come from Maine farmers.
Willsner was inspired by the Light Lager movement of 1842 in The Czech Republic (formally Czechoslovakia and before that Bohemia). Brewed with Pilsner and Vienna malts from The Aroostook County, along with a traditional variety of hops from The Czech Republic. “Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?”
95% of the grain used in this beer comes from Maine Farmers.
Wednesday bike rides: In collaboration with the Belfast chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association (NEMBA), join us for an “old school” mountain bike ride (8 miles) that starts and ends at the brewery and rolls over blueberry hills and snowmobile trails on the upper west side of Belfast. All riders are welcome. If you are feeling like biking isn’t your thing, join a crew on a run to the top of the blueberry hill (2.9 miles round trip). Ride/run departs the brewery at 5:30. Bring something for the grill for the post-ride/run “grill and chill”.
Cheers!
