Howdy Friends, We will happily fill some or all of your September share tomorrow morning. Just as a reminder, growler fills/pickups will occur every Wednesday evening from 6-8 and Saturday morning from 10-12. We will also offer a downtown pickup two Saturdays each month after 1:00. For those who have not been to the brewery, we are located at 18 Hunt Road in Belfast (red 2-story building with a garage door). There is limited space in the driveway, so feel free to park on the road.
Pre-Fill Orders: Send us your requests by 9:00 for pickup in the cooler outside anytime after 10:00. Please remember to mark your name off on the chalkboard.
Drop-in: Feel free to stop in from 10:00-12:00 to have your growlers filled and chat with the brew crew.
September 6th Beer Options:
Chompski Belgian Golden Ale 8.0%
Endo NEIPA 7.7%
Prost! Altbier 5.2%
Catbird Seat Cream Ale 5.3%
Beer Descriptions:
Chompski: is a recipe inspired by the great Belgian IPA, Houblon Chouffe. A Belgian Golden Strong Ale by style, this pale, complex,
effervescent ale is highly attenuated and offers hoppy and fruity notes of lemon and grapefruit. 100% of the grain used in this beer comes from Maine farmers.
Endo (end over) is a collaboration beer with our friends at Marshall Wharf Brewing. A mountain bike themed beer that celebrates the epic crashes from riding hard and taking chances. A New England Style IPA, also known as a Hazy IPA that is brewed with all Maine grains and 4 varieties of New Zealand hops. This beer will not last long so get it while you can.
Prost! Altbier is a well-balanced, well-attenuated, bitter yet malty, clean, and smooth, amber to deep copper colored German Ale that is the traditional style from Dusseldorf. This beer offers a rich malt character reflective of traditional German base malts, with nutty-toasty bread crust notes, with low hop aroma. “Alt” refers to the old style of brewing (top-fermenting ales) that was common before bottom-fermenting lagers became popular.
94% of the grain used in this beer comes from Maine farmers.
Catbird Seat Cream Ale:
An Ale version of the American Lager, with way more character. This style was originally created in the 1800’s and survived prohibition. This pale straw colored beer has
medium to low malt notes with a sweet corn-like aroma. The light hop aroma offers floral, spicy or herbal notes. It’s often referred to it as a “lawnmower beer”, we just think it’s super easy to drink and delicious. 95% of the grain used in this beer comes from Maine Farmers.
Cheers!
